How and when do I pay?

You book without a card. You pay on the day of the tour in EUR (or the equivalent in EGP or USD) to the guide, or by bank transfer in advance if you prefer. Flight options need the flight paid 72 hours before travel; we send a link.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, 48 hours for tours that include a flight. Balloon flights cancelled by Civil Aviation for wind are refunded in full.

About this tour

Not a big cruise ship, not a show: a small boat for your party with a cook and a captain. It is the calm meal of a Luxor stay.

Pickup 30 minutes before boarding at the Corniche. The launch has a shaded deck with a set table and a lower cabin; it sails upstream past Luxor Temple and the Winter Palace, along the West Bank palm groves to Banana Island and back.

The meal is cooked on board or brought fresh from the kitchen: mixed grills or Nile perch, mezze (tahini, baba ganoush, tabbouleh), rice, vegetables, bread, fruit and dessert, with tea, coffee and soft drinks. Vegetarian on request.

The dinner sailing sees Luxor Temple lit from the water. Back at the Corniche after two hours and at your hotel 30 minutes later.
