The difference from the standard half day is what is inside the price: you go inside a pyramid, you ride a camel to the panorama, and the guide is with you for the whole five hours. No haggling on the plateau, no surprise fees.
Pickup at 08:00 in a private car. You start at the Great Pyramid and walk its base with the guide explaining the quarrying, the ramps and the three chambers. Then the pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three, whose descending passage and granite burial chamber are included in this tour and are far less crowded than Khufu's.
From Menkaure a camel is waiting. The 30-minute ride follows the desert edge south-west of the plateau to the panorama point, the only way to reach the far viewpoint where the three pyramids sit in a row with nothing in front of them. The handler walks with the camel; children ride with a parent.
The car meets you at the panorama and takes you down to the Valley Temple of Khafre and the Sphinx. You are back at the hotel around 13:00. Lunch at a restaurant with a pyramid view can be added on request.

Day and money well spent. Our Guide Hesham was very knowledgeable in the field of history and his story telling definitely made the trip to pyramids better. Wasn't tiring at all and wasn't boring at any point.
our tour guide was Hesham, he took good pictures and made sure we had enough time for photographs, he also was very knowledgable and funny, cracked a joke here and there.
