The camps sit on the desert plateau south of the pyramids. After dark the city noise stops, the sky opens, and the pyramids glow at the horizon. It is the evening families remember.
Pickup at 18:30 in a private car; 45 minutes to the camp at the edge of the desert behind the plateau. Welcome with mint tea and dates around the fire in a Bedouin tent with cushions and carpets.
Optional 20-minute camel or horse ride in the dark with the pyramids lit on the horizon (included in the price). Then dinner cooked on the grill and in the clay oven: mixed grills, chicken, rice, salads, baba ganoush, tahini, fresh bread; vegetarian plates on request.
After dinner a live band with oud and tabla and a tanoura (whirling) dancer, shisha for those who want it, and a look at the stars. Back at the hotel about 22:30.

Everything is cooked fresh in front of you. Vegetarian and vegan plates are prepared when you tell us at booking.
On clear nights, yes, far better than in the city. The pyramids stay lit until about 23:00 on show nights.
Yes. Children aged 4 to 11 pay the child price and under 4 travel free on a parent's lap. Strollers are fine at the pyramids and the museums; tombs have stairs. Tell us the ages in the booking so we plan the pace.
You book without a card. You pay on the day of the tour in EUR (or the equivalent in EGP or USD) to the guide, or by bank transfer in advance if you prefer. Flight options need the flight paid 72 hours before travel; we send a link.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, 48 hours for tours that include a flight. Balloon flights cancelled by Civil Aviation for wind are refunded in full.

Omar is a very nice person and he wants everyone to enjoy the night. He is very welcoming. However, the food is mediocre, the performances were lacking and it is a lot of waiting before the actual show starts. It’s also not a “true” experience as the location is right off the highway so you don’t really feel like you’re in the…

Gelungene Atmosphäre
Sehr schöner und lustiger Abend mit unserem Begleiter Omar. Essen war sehr lecker und auch in vegetarisch zu bekommen. Die Kusisse macht den Unterschied, sehr angenehmes Umfeld und Rahmenprogramm 👍🏽
