Q: How early is pickup for a Cairo day from Hurghada?
A: By coach between 02:00 and 03:30 depending on your hotel, back around midnight. By plane pickup about 04:30, back about 22:00. It is a long day; bring a neck pillow and sleep on the bus.

Q: Bus or plane from the Red Sea?
A: The coach is the cheapest: 5.5 to 7 hours each way with a guide on board, shared with other guests. The plane takes an hour from Hurghada or Sharm, then a private car and Egyptologist in Cairo, so you have more time at the sites. Families with small children and anyone who dislikes long drives choose the plane.

Q: Is the road from the Red Sea safe?
A: Yes. Transfers between the Red Sea and Cairo or Luxor have run daily without convoy since 2016. Vehicles are licensed, drivers are rested and the guide carries a Ministry of Tourism ID.

Q: Do you pick up from El Gouna, Makadi, Soma Bay, Safaga or Marsa Alam?
A: Yes. A small per-person surcharge (5 to 25 EUR depending on the distance) is shown in the booking form before you confirm. From Marsa Alam we offer Luxor by car and Cairo by plane only.

A: Yes. The Great Pyramid ticket is about 900 EGP and sold at the plateau; the third pyramid (Menkaure) is included in the VIP tour; the Red Pyramid at Dahshur is included in the Saqqara day.

Q: Is the Grand Egyptian Museum fully open?
A: Yes, including the Tutankhamun galleries. Plan three hours with a guide; a full day if you love museums.

Q: Which tombs do I see in the Valley of the Kings?

### Alexandria
Alexandria was founded by Alexander in 331 BC and was the capital of Egypt for a thousand years. ### Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon
The Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari (c. 1479 to 1458 BC, architect Senenmut) rises in three colonnaded terraces against the cliff of the Theban mountain, with the reliefs of the expedition to Punt and the Hathor chapel. The Colossi of Memnon, the two 18 m statues of Amenhotep III, stand on the road to it. Both are on every West Bank tour; the balloon flies over them at sunrise.

### Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo
Between Luxor and Aswan three late temples stand nearly intact: the Temple of Khnum at Esna (Roman hypostyle hall below street level), the Temple of Horus at Edfu (237 to 57 BC, the best preserved in Egypt) and the double temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo with its crocodile museum. Nile cruises stop at all three; by private car they make a ten-hour transfer-tour from Luxor to Aswan.
